This CE opportunity will give the attendee a plethora of knowledge to take home and use on Day 1 following the meeting. This is an intimate CE meeting limited to 6-8 attendees. Objectives of Canine Dentistry and Oral Surgery • Attendee will be receiving a review of normal canine dental and radiographic anatomy • Attendee will be exposed to abnormal dental radiography to be used day 1 post lecture • Introduction to Periodontology to understand and appreciate all Stages of this Disease and how to treat each • Review of pain management for dental procedures and how to perform regional nerve blocks • Step-by-step review of oral surgical principles to include maxillary canine and maxillary 4th premolar tooth (plus others if time avails) • Hands-on oral surgical lab to perform the above procedures Attention to detail including proper flap presentation, bone removal, proper luxation vs elevation, alveoplasty and surgical closure will be emphasized. Immediate constructive review by a Boarded Dental Specialist ™ will help the DVM learn the proper technique to perform these oral surgical procedures
